James Kenna Sr. Death Certificate

After many months I heard back from the New York State Vital Records office regarding my request for death certificates for James Kenna b. 1809 and his wife Honora Rourke b. 1820. James died in Little Falls, NY in 1886 and Honora died in Little Falls, NY in 1881. Sadly they did not find anything for Honora and for James I did not learn anything new or his parent's names as I had hoped.

How disappointing. My husband and I just returned from a search in Little Falls NY looking for his g g grandparents. It was also on this trip when I found your website. I am very interested in your organization. I inherited my mother’s genealogy notes when she died in 2008. My original goal was to transfer her notes and sources to the internet so other researchers would have access. I have Family Tree Maker and an Ancestry membership. Could you tell me how you organized your materials? It is so clear and searchable and I would like to do the same. Maybe it would be better to make this request in the genealogy section as this blog has been inactive for quite awhile. Thank you. Pam Dixon
